Milton Dodd is sales director of the southern region in the U.S. With over two decades of coaching and building high-performing teams that lead initiatives and expand market share, he has learned two key facts about leadership. Companies need leaders who are 1) sensitive to the needs of their people and the organization and 2) capable of developing individuals, teams, and emerging leaders. Milton is passionate about helping organizations achieve both. Prior to his current role, Milton was a sales director on the Minneapolis Finance team.

Before joining Salo, Milton led multiple sales teams at Lifetouch and Shutterfly across the United States. In this role, he built a track record of helping organizations identify gaps, design and implement transformational business solutions, and develop leaders to help execute those solutions. Some of his projects included integration of six acquisitions, opening new markets, and heading up special projects like the integration of Salesforce at Shutterfly.

Milton’s civic and community engagements include serving for the past nine years as co-chair of Rites of Passage, a mentorship program, building schools in the Dominican Republic and Haiti with World Servants, a disaster and humanitarian relief organization, and serving on the board of Opportunity Partners, a nonprofit focused on finding meaningful work experiences for people with disabilities.

Milton has a business degree from Queens University of Charlotte and an MBA in data analytics from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Milton lives in Plymouth, Minnesota with his wife Kendra and their three children. An avid traveler, he loves to take trips across the globe to enjoy new places, play golf, and have adventures with his family. You can find him on summer weekends maximizing his time in the Minnesota sunshine and working on his golf handicap.
