Lisa Goldson Armstrong brings transformative expertise as a marketing executive and growth strategist. She works with companies ranging from start-ups to mid-sized and from multinational companies to specialized educational institutions.

Lisa is currently chief marketing officer and VP of global strategy at Resideo, a global leader in home comfort and security solutions. She’s also held leadership roles in several other organizations. Lisa was senior vice president of strategy, marketing, and innovation for Filtration Group (Madison Industries), where she defined and deployed growth strategies across 16 business unit portfolios for the private equity company. She also spent time as vice president of marketing and strategy with Pentair, where she built brand strategies, drove marketing excellence, and lead digital transformation. Prior to working at Pentair, Lisa was director of marketing and strategy with Honeywell ACS, where she led corporate strategy, strategic accounts marketing, and international expansion. Lisa spent the first ten years of her career in information technology, developing her technical and leadership skills in roles ranging from computer programmer to general manager.

The CMO Club awarded Lisa with the Rising Star Award recognizing her demonstrated capabilities in leading an organization, fostering marketing innovation, and spearheading a growth agenda.

In addition to Salo’s board, Lisa is a board advisor for Lunar Start-ups (a new model for incubating high growth start-ups). She is also actively involved in Pipeline Angels where she is focused on investing and supporting female entrepreneurs and involved in non-profit leadership with the City of Lakes chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. Lisa’s past board service includes the Cornell University’s President’s Council of Cornell Women, the board of Meet Minneapolis (a destination marketing organization), and the board of Girl Scouts River Valleys.

Lisa has an M.B.A. from the Johnson School at Cornell University, a postbaccalaureate in design from Minneapolis College of Arts & Design, and an H.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) in Canada. She and her family live in Minneapolis.
