Dave Telep

Managing Director, South Region, Human Resources

As HR managing director for the southern U.S., Dave Telep is focused on hiring, onboarding, training new business development directors (BDDs) and helping them build client and consultant relationships. Dave’s experience as part of Salo’s team and as an HR leader in organizations across the U.S. benefits our BDDs, clients, and consultants.

Dave joined Salo as an HR BDD in 2019. Immediately before Salo, Dave was senior vice president of HR with Element Fleet Management. He has also held a variety of HR leadership roles at GE, in areas such as GE Capital Fleet Services, GE Capital Energy Financial Services, and GE Commercial Finance.

Dave has a degree from Boston College. In addition to work, he’s on the board of The Lift Garage (which helps people move out poverty by providing low-cost car repairs), is an assistant scout master with the Boy Scouts of America, and a volunteer at Feed My Starving Children (which works to eliminate starvation worldwide).

Dave lives with his wife and four kids in the Minneapolis area. He’s an avid golfer and outdoorsman who enjoys hiking and camping. He also likes watching just about any college sport.
