Amy Langer, co-founder of Salo, is a successful entrepreneur and industry thought leader. Her unwavering commitment to creating an exceptional corporate culture and service environment has led Salo to be widely recognized for setting industry standards relative to innovative culture, superior client service, and workforce flexibility.
Amy builds successful teams using her expertise in human resources, finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. She is experienced interacting and relating to all levels of executive leadership in companies ranging from Fortune 100 companies to entrepreneurial ventures. She is currently the chair of the board of directors for Health Partners, a board member for Greater MSP Partnership, and an emeritus board member for the Washburn Center for Children.
Amy and Salo have been recognized with a wide range of awards including Finance and Commerce’s “Top Women in Finance,” Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “Fast 50,” “Healthiest Employer,” and six-time recipient of “Best Places to Work,” along with Minnesota Business Magazine’s “Leader in Healthcare” and “100 Best Companies to Work For.”
Amy is a certified public accountant (inactive), a graduate of Michigan State University, and is an Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow which seeks to develop the next generation of community-spirited leaders.
Amy and her husband live in Minneapolis. She is the mother of three boys. She enjoys building strong, more equitable communities, attending live music events, cross-country skiing on the Minnesota lakes, and connecting people to make a difference. Amy is an avid Michigan State University sports fan.
