Mary Cook receives 2022 Women of Influence honor from Chicago Business Journal
The Women of Influence honor is awarded to women who have made a substantial impact in both their profession and community. The 2022 honorees represent a cross-section of industries across Chicago, including marketing, technology, law and finance.
Mary is one of ten executives selected from nominations made to Chicago Business Journal. The criteria for this honor require nominees be “active in their communities and with charitable endeavors, showcasing a degree of influence not only in their respective professional careers, but also away from their offices.”
In addition to her role as Salo’s managing director of Midwest finance and accounting, Mary is a board member of the Chicago Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI), where she is vice-chairperson on the Chicago chapter’s CFO of the Year event. She also lends her time to several community organizations, including the Barrington Chinese Immersion Council (officer/board member), Barrington’s Children’s Charities, Gigi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Centers, Parkinson’s Foundation, Les Turner ALS Foundation, and Second City Canine Rescue.
We are thrilled to see Mary’s accomplishments and community impact recognized!
