Salo announced today that Lisa Brezonik has been named chief talent officer, effective immediately. Brezonik succeeds Ann Ruschy who was recently promoted to chief connection officer.
Brezonik comes to Salo from Brezonik Consulting, an executive coaching and organizational consulting firm, where she served as president and executive coach for the past eight years.
“We are excited to have Lisa join our executive management team. As a longtime colleague and strong supporter of Salo, Lisa not only shares our values, but she also brings impressive organizational leadership skills to the role,” said Amy Langer, Salo co-founder.
Prior to her consulting work, Brezonik spent seven years with RBC Dain Rauscher as chief administrative officer of Fixed Income and senior vice president of Human Resources and Communications. Brezonik also held various human resources management-level positions with Integ Inc., Room and Board, and Coram Healthcare.
In her new role, Brezonik will collaborate with the executive management team to shape and implement the vision and overall objectives for the firm, drive growth and elevate the employment experience by defining and leading a multi-year talent transformation. She will also bolster the functions of customer experience, facilities, and human resources.
“Lisa’s well suited to reinforce Salo’s culture by attracting fun, energetic and highly skilled talent, both internally in our Salo offices and through our consultant base,” said John Folkestad, Salo co-founder.
A devoted member of her community, Brezonik serves on the Ann Bancroft Foundation board of directors and volunteers with Menttium and Habitat for Humanity.
Lisa completed her undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota in Psychology and her graduate studies at the University of St. Thomas in Human Resources Development. She completed her coaching training at the Coaches Training Institute.
