MINNEAPOLIS – May 22, 2017 – Amy Langer, co-founder of Salo LLC, the leader in driving business outcomes in finance, accounting and human resources, was recently appointed to the HealthPartners Board of Directors.
Langer’s long-standing commitment to good health, and good mental health in particular, is evident in her other board commitments. Since 2006, Langer has worked with the Washburn Center for Children Board of Directors, serving both as Board President and emeritus board member.
“As an entrepreneur, mother and healthcare advocate, Amy is clearly guided by the value of good health in everything she does. We appreciate her belief that strong mental health is core to building communities and know she’ll be a tremendous asset to our board,” says Mary Brainerd, president and chief executive officer, HealthPartners.
“I’m honored to serve on this board and am committed to help guide HealthPartners to providing quality, affordable health care, which creates a positive impact in people’s lives,” says Langer.
Board members are also HealthPartners patients and members. This ensures that HealthPartners stays mission-driven and member-focused. HealthPartners has been consumer-governed by elected board members for more than 50 years.
Langer’s three-year term begins immediately.
